David just defended is PhD thesis on Structure and Dynamics of Ecological Networks with Multiple Interactions at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, specifically the CREAF, and it went very well. The evaluation panel included José Montoya (CNRS), Nacho Bartolomeus (CSIC), and Carlos Melián (ETH). The discussion was both entertaining and intellectually stimulating: a good example of how PhD evaluations should be. David is to be congratulated for his excellent thesis, presentation and discussion.

At Miguel Araújo lab we wish him all the very best for the rest of his career.
