Miguel B. Araújo, vice-President of the Jury of the “Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian” Prize for Humanity on Climate Change was thrilled to meet his peers after a long period of remote work owing to COVID-19 restrictions. In particular, he is delighted to support next-President of the Jury, former Germany’s Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel, in selecting nominated climate-change champions for this 1 M euros award.
